Fresh Start, Fresh Watch: Pairing Your Apple Watch with a New iPhone

Got a shiny new iPhone? Congrats! But before you dive headfirst into all its features, let's get your Apple Watch connected. Pairing your Apple Watch to a new phone is easier than you might think, but skipping steps can lead to headaches.

First, **back up your Apple Watch** from your old iPhone. This ensures you don't lose any precious data like activity records or custom watch faces. You can do this through the Watch app on your old iPhone.

Next, unpair your Apple Watch from your old iPhone. This step is crucial! In the Watch app, go to 'All Watches,' tap the info icon next to your watch, and select 'Unpair Apple Watch.'

Now, power on your new iPhone and complete the initial setup. Once you're on the Home Screen, bring your Apple Watch close. Your iPhone should detect it and prompt you to start pairing. Follow the on-screen instructions, choosing to restore from a backup during the process.

If the automatic pairing doesn't kick in, open the Watch app on your new iPhone and tap 'Start Pairing.'

Enjoy your newly paired Apple Watch and all the seamless connectivity it offers with your brand-new iPhone!
