The rumor mill is churning, and excitement is building for iOS 18! But the big question on everyone's mind is: will my iPhone or iPad be compatible? While Apple hasn't officially announced the list, we can make educated guesses based on past trends and the capabilities of current devices. Generally, Apple supports devices for around 5-6 years.
It's expected that iOS 18 will support devices with the A12 Bionic chip or newer. This likely includes the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and all subsequent models, including the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and the latest iPhone 15 series. On the iPad front, expect support for iPad Air (3rd generation and later), iPad mini (5th generation and later), iPad (8th generation and later), and all iPad Pro models released since 2018.
