We've all been there. Maybe you had a heated online debate, or perhaps you just accidentally tapped the block button. Whatever the reason, if you're looking to reconnect, unblocking someone on Facebook is a breeze.
Here's a quick guide: First, navigate to your Facebook settings. You can find this by clicking the downward-facing arrow in the top right corner of your screen (on desktop) or by tapping the three horizontal lines (the 'hamburger menu') on your mobile app.
Next, look for 'Privacy' or 'Privacy Shortcuts' then 'Blocking'. You'll see a list of everyone you've blocked. Simply find the person you want to unblock and click the 'Unblock' button next to their name.
Keep in mind that once you unblock someone, you'll need to send them a friend request again, as unblocking doesn't automatically re-friend them. Also, there's a waiting period before you can re-block someone you've just unblocked. Now go forth and reconnect (if you want to!)
