Is your Apple Watch being a little… rebellious? Maybe it's sluggish, glitching, or you're just preparing to sell it. Whatever the reason, a factory reset can often be the perfect fix. Don't worry, it's easier than you think!
Before you begin, **back up your Apple Watch!** This will save all your data, settings, and preferences to your iPhone. You can do this through the Watch app on your iPhone: Go to General > Reset > Erase Apple Watch Content and Settings.
**There are two main ways to reset:**
* **From Your Apple Watch:** Go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. You'll be prompted for your passcode.
* **From Your iPhone:** Open the Watch app, go to My Watch > General > Reset > Erase Apple Watch Content and Settings.
During the reset, keep your Apple Watch and iPhone close together. Once the process is complete, your Apple Watch will be like new! You can then restore it from your backup or set it up as a brand new device. Problem solved! Remember to unpair before resetting if you are selling the device.
