Tired of running back and forth for more belts? Wish your bots could just… deliver? Here's how to set up a personal logistics network in Factorio to get items brought directly to you!
First, you'll need a Roboport, a Logistic Chest (Passive Provider), and a Logistic Chest (Requester). Place the Passive Provider chest where you want to store the items (belts, inserters, etc.). Put the items you want delivered *into* this chest.
Next, place the Requester Chest near you. Set a request in the Requester Chest for the items you want delivered. Make sure the Roboport covers both chests with its logistic network.
Finally, make sure you are within the range of a Roboport within the SAME logistic network. If you're not, the bots won't deliver to you! Your character icon will show a green square when you're in range. If everything is set up correctly, bots will zip over from the Passive Provider, grab the requested items, and deposit them in your Requester Chest for easy access. Now you can stay focused on building your factory while your robot butlers keep you supplied!
