We've all been there. That blurry group shot, the accidental selfie, or maybe just a photo you'd rather forget. Thankfully, deleting photos in Google Photos is a breeze! This guide will walk you through the simple steps to declutter your digital memories.
**Deleting a Single Photo:**
1. Open Google Photos on your device or web browser.
2. Find the photo you want to delete.
3. Click on the photo to enlarge it.
4. Look for the trash can icon (usually at the top or bottom of the screen) and tap or click it.
5. Confirm you want to move the photo to the trash.
**Deleting Multiple Photos:**
1. Open Google Photos.
2. Long-press (or click and hold) on the first photo you want to delete.
3. Select additional photos by tapping or clicking on them.
4. Tap or click the trash can icon.
5. Confirm the deletion.
**Important Note:** Deleted photos are moved to the trash folder, where they stay for 60 days. After that, they are permanently deleted. You can restore photos from the trash within that 60-day window. So, breathe easy, you have a chance to change your mind!
