Message Overload? How to Delete Messages on Your Mac (and reclaim your sanity!)

Feeling overwhelmed by a mountain of messages on your Mac? Don't worry, you're not alone! Luckily, deleting those old conversations and freeing up valuable storage space is a breeze. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to delete messages on your Mac.

**Deleting Individual Messages:**

1. Open the Messages app.
2. Select the conversation containing the message you want to delete.
3. Right-click (or Ctrl+click) on the specific message.
4. Choose "Delete" from the menu.

**Deleting Entire Conversations:**

1. Open the Messages app.
2. Select the conversation you want to remove.
3. Right-click (or Ctrl+click) on the conversation in the sidebar.
4. Choose "Delete Conversation" from the menu.

**Important Note:** Deleting messages on your Mac *will not* delete them from other devices connected to your iMessage account unless you have iCloud Messages enabled and syncing properly. With iCloud Messages enabled, deleting a message on your Mac will delete it across all your Apple devices. So, delete wisely!
