We've all been there. Overflowing with photos, many duplicates, or maybe just a few we'd rather *not* have floating around in the cloud. Don't worry, deleting Google Photos is simpler than you think! This guide will walk you through the process.
**Deleting a Single Photo/Video:**
1. Open Google Photos on your phone or computer.
2. Select the photo or video you want to delete.
3. Click the trash can icon (usually in the top right corner or at the bottom).
4. Confirm you want to move it to the trash.
**Deleting Multiple Photos/Videos:**
1. On your computer: Hover over a photo and click the checkmark in the corner. Repeat for all the photos you want to delete. Then, click the trash can icon.
2. On your phone: Long-press a photo to select it. Then, tap other photos to select them. Tap the trash can icon.
**Important Note:** Deleted photos/videos stay in the trash for 60 days. After that, they're gone for good! Remember to empty your trash periodically if you want to free up storage immediately. Happy decluttering!
