SWTOR Item Transfer: Gifting Gear Between Your Characters (No, Seriously!)

So, you've got a sweet piece of gear on one SWTOR character that would be *perfect* for your alt. Can you transfer items between characters? The answer is YES, but with a couple of crucial steps!

The key is the Legacy Bank. This shared storage space is unlocked for a Legacy on a server and allows you to freely move items between characters within that Legacy. It's account-wide for that specific server.

Unlock the Legacy Bank (it costs credits) and place the desired items inside. Then, switch to your other character, head to the Legacy Bank terminal on the Fleet, and retrieve your goodies!

**Important considerations:**

* Items must be unbound (not bound to a specific character). Mods can often be extracted to make gear transferrable.
* Some items are simply not transferrable, such as certain quest rewards.
